Nike Air Pegasus ’92 – Black – Grey – Purple

Overshadowed by the ’89 in terms of recent retro releases, the Nike Air Pegasus ’92 returns in 2011.  We saw a Clemson-esque colorway yesterday that managed to have a vintage look while still feeling fresh and this new pair goes in the opposite direction.  Less like an OG colorup and more like the Air Pegasus ’89 ‘Berlin Wall’, these joints go with a mostly black design anchored by grey and white with purple accents.  It’s a palette that has some distinct energy yet still manages to ever so subtly emphasize the 92’s signature heel construction and remind us visible Air isn’t a requirement for classic status.  Check out more shots after the jump and pre-order yours today from CrookedTongues.
