The New Balance 574 Sonic was one of the ‘honorable mentions’ that didn’t quite make the cut for Sneaker News’ Top 30 Sneaker of 2010, but needless to say, the sneaker deserves its props. The sonic-welded upper creates a lightweight shell without comprising the structure or comfort and maintains the classic retro-inspired look – there’s a reason why it’s so popular in college campuses and for older generations alike. In February 2011, more New Balance 574 Sonic releases will be available – one in a rich burgundy with a grey heel counter and a off-white cream tone with black. Endclothing has a pre-order available for both colorways so take another look after the jump and don’t miss out!
