Sneakerheads are on average far more fashion conscious than your average joe but we still probably need to offer a bit of background for this one to come into full view. So Nike Trend and Energy Director Kristin Reiter got up with (I)D’s Lauren Tennenbaum and asked her to rebuild a sneaker. Kristin said she wanted something along the lines of Lauren’s absolutely nutso spike heel and so she came up with something else to manifest the blog’s tagline, “What is good taste anyway?” So how does a pair of Nike+ WMNS runners turn into one heel clicker of a red sequened wedge?
