The Nike Air Max Plus was the flagship Air Max shoe for 2001 despite not having the year-designation attributed with the name. Instead, the Air Max Plus was given an all-new tech – Nike Tuned Air – marking a brand new era of the Air Max technology. The advanced Tuned Air was paired with a futuristic design featuring flowing lines like fluids flowing through an intricate vascular system and an all-new Air Max cushioning midsole that featured two visible compartments at the forefoot and a Pebax-infused heel unit that compartmentalized Air into particular chambers, offering optimal comfort. The Air Max Plus 1.5 features a similar design but with Flywire embedded on the upper, offering a lighter package than what you’d expect with the original design. Sneaker News showed you two great colorways last month as well as a sample pair with an Air Max 97 sole much earlier this year, and this all new colorway of White, Jetstream, and Mega Blue has become available at Foot Locker locations in Europe.
