After twenty five years, it’s time for a change. For the silver anniversary of the Nike Dunk, the Nike SB wing has made subtle yet significant changes to the classic Nike Basketball shoe, and while the shoe itself appears to be unchanged, Nike is assured that the SB Dunk is on a whole ‘nother level. A new sole, lighter construction, and new grip will make the SB Dunk a pure skate shoe, and one of the earlier releases of the new era of the SB Dunk is this red, white, and gum-soled Mid headed for a 2011 release. This particular colorway was featured in the Autopsy of the Nike SB Dunk, where it was probed, incised, analyzed, and reborn, and by next year, these will be good to go on your feet. You can make references to other tonal red colorways like the True Reds or the Big Gulps, but these are 100% untainted ‘skate’. Check out the detailed shots after the jump and let us know what you think of this upcoming released. via CrookedTongues.
