Before the recent mad dash toward hybrid designs, combining the Nike Blazer with the adidas Samba would have seemed downright silly. Three Stripes and the Swoosh are still locked in a fight to the death, so don’t expect any cross-label collabo kicks, but the two aforementioned classics might give you a good starting place to imagine how this latest adidas Originals release is going to look. Not a hybrid, but rather a basketball shoe of the same vintage as the Blazer, the adidas Center is back for the first time in a good while with three fresh new colorways. Much like the venerable Blazer, the Center works best with simple colorblocking, and we’ve got three new white-on-color pairs to show you.
