If you’ve been keeping up with Sneaker News’ coverage of upcoming Jordan releases, you’ll know that the brand has a lot in store for us beyond Retro releases. As you know, you can expect the release of the Air Jordan VII ‘Bordeaux’, Air Jordan V ‘Wolf Grey’, Air Jordan III ‘True Blue’, and the all-new Air Jordan 2011, but the 2011 will bring a strong focus on hybrid projects that offers a fresh view on the classic models. The Jordan CMFT series, which combines Air Jordan and Air Max, will feature the Air Jordan X, XII, and XIII, and other hybrids like the Jordan 6-17-23 and the Prime 5 can be expected in a number of colorways.
Jordan Brand’s ideas surrounding the Air Jordan legacy will also continue to take form, as a plethora of new designs like the P.I.T. Mid, H-Series, and Evolution will see releases starting April 2011, as will a refreshed emphasis on lifestyle shoes, like the Jordan Sky High Court Low and the Jordan V.5 Grown Low with a tonal elephant-print upper. Also, a Girls collection of Jordan releases in the form of a canvas-uppered Air Jordan 1, Jordan CMFT Vis Air 13, and other new designs can be expected to release in June.
