Jordan Brand’s latest hybrid doesn’t go the Spiz’ike/Six Rings mashup route, nor is it your typical ‘point-five’ release. The Air Jordan 6-17-23 goes one step further than the Collezione Packs that dominated 2008, going beyond just packaging the Air Jordan VI and XVIIs together and actually combining them into a single shoe! The 6-17-23 takes the AJVI’s upper and adds the XVII’s signature eyelets, finishing that off with a sole that’s a reworked version of the Seventeen’s with some translucency just like the Sixes. This first pair borrows the familiar Carmine shade of red from the AJ6, but with tons of black unlike the white originals, these have their own crosspollinated feel.
