After announcing its endorsement agreement with Evan Turner, the second overall draft pick of the 2010 NBA Draft, Li-Ning introduced Evan Turner to China while debuting the Li-Ning Conquer, one of two signature shoes Turner will wear throughout the season. Li-Ning’s ‘Defend & Conquer’ capsule, Evan Turner will wear the white/red ‘Conquer’ during his home games in Philly and the black/white ‘Defend’ during away games. With a budding line-up of endorsees and an impressive design concept, some have compared Li-Ning to AND1, the American-born basketball footwear brand that enjoyed a prolonged peak from the mid-late 90’s to the early-mid 2000’s due to its streetball roots.
