The original Supra Cuban debuted back in 2008 with a super-long fold down tongue held in place by a metallic chain. Then a revised model hit retailers this summer with a significantly sleeker tongue now ‘fastened’ with boat shoe-style leather laces. Out of that unofficially-second Cuban emerges the Supra Belay, an even sleeker take on the slip on lowtop. These are somewhat trimmed down compared to Cuban deux, but the easiest way to see the difference is probably the side panel stitching. Check out more images of these cabernet patent leather joints and another pair in grey waxed cotton after the jump, and look for these now at select Supra dealers.
