That’s the resounding theme with the most recent release of the Nike SB P-Rod Signature Line, one that has evolved through the years into what we see today. Paul Rodriguez’s primary desire was to have the ultimate performance shoes in his eyes, and that meant all suede, great cushion (Phylon + Zoom Air), and a slimmer appeal. While the shoe may have trimmed down a bit, it doesn’t go without its own special touches, like the leather swoosh on the bottom sole, the extra rubber grip implemented into the toe-box, and a breathable mesh toe. Sneaker News recently showed you P-Rod’s latest commercial that was set in NYC, and later today P-Rod, alongside other notable Nike SB riders like Eric Koston, Theotis Beasley will appear at Rucker Park in Harlem, NYC, for a special event.
