Last June, as the school year was coming to an end (for some) and summer vacation was beginning its reign, Sneaker News dropped some great Foamposite info to keep our readers excited for the next few months. In addition to confirming a Spring 2011 release of the ‘Penny’ Foams in Dark Neon Royal as well as a new Metallic Pewter colorway, Sneaker News also released information regarding an Electric Green colorway with a colorway that at the time, was left to the imagination. Our initial hypothesis of a ‘Kryptonate’ related colorway looks to be  a truth (barring a complete change or even a scrap); check out these preliminary images of the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in Electric Green and Black, set for a tentative limited Spring 2011 release. The upper features a radioactive green on the Foamposite, giving the shoe even more of its trademark space-boot look. The colorway is almost a “reverse” of the Black/Bright Cactus Foamposite One that released in late 2007. So, what do you think of this colorway? Awesome idea or just a bit too much? Let us know. and stick with Sneaker News because we’ll keep you updated. via Kenlu.
