We’ve seen Nike Air Force 1 Lows with the Air Tech Challenge II and Huarache touches, but here’s a style most never would have expected on a pair of Uptowns. The Mercurial Vapor Elite AF1 Low by customizer C2 is styled after the $400 top-of-the-line soccer Mercurial Vapor Superfly II Elite cleats that played a prominent role in the just concluded World Cup in South Africa. They’re not Flywire-equipped like the cleated version, but with a silver forefoot and red hind sections blended with an unmistakable diagonal stripe pattern, the huge Swoosh on these AF1 Lows is as close to a football boot as you’ll get.
