Nike Basketball did the ‘Triple Black’ thing for a while, but the most recent ‘Blackout’ editions of their best shoes have offered a slightly lighter take on the theme. This year’s LeBrons added a little gold, and the new Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Blackout’ is going in the silver direction. That says nothing of Kobe himself, whose Lakers have been the NBA’s (purple and) gold standard for two years now; just that there are a select few Metallic Silver accents lightening up an otherwise black as night ZKV.
