The month of June can only mean one thing: BASKETBALL. The NBA Finals are under way, the courts at local parks are getting filled, and new basketball kicks will drop soon. Sneaker News brought you an extensive look at the Nike/JB/Converse Basketball Product showcase as well as info regarding the World Basketball Festival, as we gave you a great look at the Foamposite x Nike Air Force 1 High, Nike Hyperfuse, Nike Hyperdunk 2010, and four Jordan Brand models in a great inspired colorway. Staying on topic of hoops, the NBA Finals kicked off with a brand new Nike Zoom Kobe V Home and Away PE called the Big Stage Edition. In other sneaker-related news, John Wall, who isn’t an official NBA player yet, inked a multi-million dollar deal with the resurgent Reebok brand, and we got a confirmation of yet another Foamposite One for Spring 2011 as well as another New York beach inspired AF1.
Jordan Brand also made some noise in addition to its Fall 2010 Showcase that we extensively covered. We provided even more details, images, and comparisons of the AJVI Infrared Pack, but it was a peculiar pair of the Air Jordan IV that was seen at the Kicks Lab event in Tokyo from last weekend that had our readers buzzing this week. Also, a special Air Jordan 2010 colorway was designed by Undertow, an artistic trio from Portland, and the week came to a close on a high note, as we got a look at the next Jordan Brand BIN23 Collection, the Air Jordan XIII Premio.
