A packed house filled 21 Mercer last night as the infamous Mister Cartoon stopped by to help celebrate the launch of the collaboration collection that he designed for the USA leg of the NSW True Colors World Cup Pack. The store was decked out in patriotic pride with Cartoon’s various USA logos gracing the walls and pieces from the USA True Colors collection on display throughout the space. Shortly after the event kicked off, the man of the hour sat down for an entertaining Q&A session and took questions from the crowd on a variety of topics. Besides getting to know Mister Cartoon a little better, those in attendance also got a chance to get their Nike iD on thanks to two different design stations; one for the upcoming World Cup Blazer iD and the other allowing folks to create a t-shirt to be printed right on the spot, using an assortment of Cartoon’s USA graphics. And as if all that wasn’t enough, a taco truck stationed outside made sure everyone was well fed and in good spirits while enjoying the festivities. Keep reading for a photo recap of the event, including a look at some fresh footwear from the crowd.
