There’s no doubt that the Na’vi, the ten-foot-tall blue-skinned humanoid species from the blockbuster hit Avatar, will be THE costume choice for Halloween 2010. We’re still months away from the holiday but the impact the movie had on pop-culture might still hold strong even nearly a year after its box-office debut. Need a pair of kicks to finish out your costume? Check out this sample colorway of the Nike Air Max 90, featuring a reptilian-skin upper colorized in tones of teal blue. While there’s no connection between this Air Max 90 and the largest big-screen cash cow in history, the choice of material on the upper fits in with the Avatar motif. And really, will any of you be complaining when you see thousands of scantily-clad blue-painted women roaming the streets on the 31st? These are just a sample and no release info has been confirmed, and while samples are usually a size 9, this Sample pair is listed as a UK 9, which translates to a US 10. Pick up a pair from mentalkicks.
