The NBA Season is a grueling 82 games but Jason Petrie, the designer behind the most successful Nike LeBron shoe to date, had a special task at hand considering LeBron James could play up to 110 games. The Nike LeBron VII P.S. was designed specfically for LeBron’s ‘second’ season, which could in fact stretch out to 28 games, so it was an interesting challenge to create a new shoe within a shoe – an “alternate” without straying too far from the overall design of the Nike Air Max LeBron VII.
LeBron is the second coming but even he will say that without a championship, he’ll fall short of the glory of Michael Jordan, Bill Russell, and any other dynasty-creating legend of NBA history – so Jason Petrie and crew designed the LeBron P.S. to best suit King James’ battle schemes for the 2010 postseason. For anyone who is a LeBron fan, is interested in Nike technology, has true aspirations in the shoe-design game, or calls himself a true sneakerhead, this video is a must-watch.
