Nike held a Nike Zoom Kobe V iD contest that ended early March, and countless Kobe fans responded by submitting designs with hopes of winning the contest. Designed by Jason Hamilton, who goes by Kid Hollywood, this Kobe-centric Kobe V iD features the quintessential Laker purple-and-gold on a metallic silver and white upper – a colorway hand-picked by Kobe. Hamilton has been a Kobe fan since the Black Mamba slithered around in High School, and upon hearing about the Kobe V iD contest, Kid Hollywood “had to be a part of it”.
