In his first Nike Retro at-bat, ‘The Kid’ touched ’em all with a Nike Air Griffey Max that drew rave reviews and made it on the Sneaker News Top 30 Sneakers of 2009. A year later, Ken Griffey Jr. will take another swing with the retro of the Nike Air Griffey Max GD II in a black/red colorway. Griffey and his original Swingman logo don the tongue-tag and heel of the black leather-uppered baseball shoe that’ll probably hit the streets more than the first-base line. The Nike Air Griffey Max GD II will step out of the batter’s box and hit Foot Locker and other Nike retailers in April 2010. via FLUL.
