All anime fans out there know that Slam Dunk has been one of the most popular Japanese comic series ever; over 100 million copies sold is proof of that. Nike Harajuku‘s 11Change project was created to give props to the real game-changers of Japanese culture, and Takehiko Inoue, creator of Slam Dunk, was the last of the 11Change, but most definitely not the least. Nike gave Inoue the sneaker of his choice to design at his own will, and with Slam Dunk obviously rooted in the sport of basketball, the Nike Hyperize was his choice. Check out the white and carolina blue colourway with the cartoon Slam Dunk all-over print on the upper and the accompanying t-shirts. Quantity is limited; at just one hundred of each item, scoring a pair of these won’t be an easy bucket. via Freshnessmag.
