Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) – White – Black – Varsity Red – February ’10

His Lakers are a league-best 28-6 as of this writing and Kobe Bryant is averaging just under 30 a game, so why don’t we expect to see this latest Nike Zoom Kobe V at the NBA All Star Game next month in Dallas? Kobe himself will definitely be there, and he’ll probably be rockin’ something in the Western Conference’s traditional red but they’ll probably be a little different than the pair pictured above.

This latest ZK5 would certainly fit the West’s unis, but the colour match isn’t enough to make up for the lack of special indicators (you know Kobe gets special kicks for each ASG). That’s not saying they aren’t dope, though, and getting a Chicago-style ZK5 a little earlier than we’ve historically seen from the Kobe line makes us happy. Expect them at select Nike Basketball retailers like Foot Locker’s House of Hoops on February 6th.
