Nike Zoom Flip’N – Spring 2010

Now that NBA play has thoroughly settled itself into the ’09-’10 season, I guess we’re all in the hoopin’ mood (indoors, at least). This also means new Nike Basketball kicks to ball in, like the Nike Zoom Flip’N, which Sneaker News reported in our Nike Basketball Spring 2010 Preview. The wavy designs on the side of the Flip’N is borrowed from the 90’s-favorite and recently retroed Nike Air Pippen, and it’s no mystery that Nike has an affinity of borrowing design cues from popular models of the past. Something Nike tends not to do is feature a visible Zoom Air cushioning unit, but the Zoom Flip’N is a clear exception, and fortunately so. These are available now at Nike retailers with a manageable $88 pricetag. via SlamOnline.
