Nike updated the legendary Air Max runner in late 2008. The Nike Air Max 90 Current hit the scene with a Free sole and smoothed out mesh toebox, but they weren’t done there. Not only were we to receive a Huarache-inspired pair with Flywire instead of a heel cup, but also a further hybrid with the lesser known Air Moire.
The original Nike Air Max 90 Current Moire pack was tonal suede, with the Moire-like perforations covering an invisibly-seamed upper. The design has evolved even further now, with this look for next spring replacing those perfs with printed dots of varying sizes. There’s a tonal grey thing going on with the upper, accented nicely by neon green and blue with a white Free sole to stay in line with Nike’s Spring 2010 looks.
