Calling all space nerds! Two of the biggest icons in pop culture have come together for an all out collaboration. adidas Originals and Lucasfilm Ltd. will be release a full line of footwear and apparel in the likes of the infamous STAR WARS saga. We’ve seen sneak previews of these, including an inside look at the Princess Leah Top Ten, but the collection includes a much more vast selection. The brand takes their most popular classic silhouettes and adorns them with colors and aesthetics corresponding to characters and space crafts from the original three STAR WARS installations. Each design is intelligently executed to perfectly convey their respective presumed inspiration without making it too campy or adolescent. With the first set of releases expected promptly at the beginning of 2010, the collection will emerge throughout the entire year, with the apparel dropping later for the fall/winter seasons. via SF
