In Asia, Jay Chou’s name alone would be enough to sell 40000 pairs of these, much less 200. Sneakerheads in America might be able to name the Asian singer/actor’s credits, but we’re just as eagerly anticipating the upcoming release of his ‘Grand Piano’ Nike Air Max 1 for Taiwanese Tier Zero retailer PHANTACi. They follow the black and white keys motif and add a healthy dose of pink, which is PHANTACi’s signature hue. The pack will include a special box, lace locks, handmade hand link. Not included, but still available for purchase, is a mathcing Grand Piano tshirt, featuring similar graphics to the shoe box. Expected to drop this Saturday, 12/12, at both PHANTACi Taipei, and PHANTACi Taichung. For all you stateside cats, better get up on those Asia connects.
