Wood Wood x Nike LunarWood TZ

Wood Wood x Nike LunarWood TZ

Denmark’s Wood Wood has worked with adidas and Converse, but this will be their first collaboration with Nike.  They chose a sneaker that was designed to be, well, in the woods, and updated it with some of the Swoosh’s latest and greatest technologies.  Enter the Nike LunarWood TZ, a new hybrid based on the ACG Wildwood, and of course, a LunarLite sole.  Here’s the thinking behind their choice:

Whereas the original Wildwood was designed mostly for the purpose of running in nature, this project is all about the city. Since we rarely go hiking in the mountains, we wanted to bring the shoe into an urban environment.
The LunarWood is made for the cold and wet Scandinavian nights. Inspiration comes from the world of Graffiti and going on these nocturnal expeditions. All Conditions / All City.
