Artist Robert Williams will be having a new show in NYC at the Tony Shafrazi Gallery.  To coincide with the new exhibition, the west coast artist has designed a Vans Vault collection for Dave’s Quality Meats.  It’s interesting to see a shop so well known for it’s NY roots take on someone who explicitly expresses the vibe of Cali, with lots of his works conveying surfers and hot rods.  But for these shoes Williams decides to show another one of his graphic fortes- apocalypticism, showing images of the battle between good and evil.  Only 13 pairs will be made, each hand-made and personally signed by Robert Williams.

From the images, it looks like the Vans will rock a pale yellow and blue colorway, but it’s yet to be confirms if other colorways will also be present within this series.  These will be dropping only at DQM on October 31st.  With such low quantities of these being released, expect for some die-hard fans to be getting comfy across the street from DQM a night or two before doors open on Saturday morning.
