When most people think of customs, they picture painted sneakers and maybe some new materials, but occasionally, a sneakerhead gets a little more ambitious and decides to go a more unexplored route. Customizer Jason Negron came up with a bold concept for his Air Foamposites and actually had the guts to give it a shot. After going through an understandable trial and error period, Jason eventually figured out a pretty seamless way to create new colorways of some classic Nike models. As you can see, he has removed the outsoles from an Eggplant and Neon pair of Air Foamposites and switched them up to give both shoes an entirely new look that’s fully wearable. Like you may imagine, this is an involved process and we don’t recommend that you try this at home, but if you’re interested in getting your own soles swapped, you can contact Jason through PackerShoes. Be sure to check out some more pics after the jump and stay tuned for a look at more of these clever creations in the near future.
