With the Nike Hyperize AP City Pack, the group was held together by ties to different nations. Another theme in the set was inspiration from architecture. The Hong Kong joints celebrated the city’s soon to be renovated MacPherson Stadium and this latest release draws on another iconic Chinese design. The China release is white and silver, with a gridded design on the overlay hearkening back to the ‘Birdsnest’ Olympic Stadium from Beijing’s 2008 summer games.
