A while back, Nike created some nice buzz with the video of Kobe Bryant jumping over an Aston Martin in a pair of Hyperdunks. As an interesting afterthought, an exclusive Aston Martin-inspired Hyperdunk was created to preserve the moment in time. The kicks are stunning at a glance, but a closer look reveals a variety of nice little touches to make the concept that much more legit. The Aston Martin Hyperdunk sports a metallic silver upper with some classy burgundy accents. The silver Aston Martin hood ornament is used for the lace locks and an embossed logo of Kobe’s pre-jump silhouette graces the tongue. In another tribute to the memorable leap, the insole features a step by step illustration depicting Kobe’s silhouette from start to finish. Unfortunately, these are only a sample and you’d have better luck jumping over a car than landing yourself a pair, but you can, however, get a bunch of detailed looks after the jump and if you are in the Portland area, feel free to stop in at Capital and get a look at this pair in the flesh.
