Aside from America, of course, Brazil gets more exclusive Nikes than any nation in the western hemisphere. This latest pack celebrates their rich soccer tradition with three new highly detailed releases. The Nike Sportswear Canarinho Pack borrows its moniker from the Brazilian national soccer team’s nickname and consists of a Dunk Low, a Blazer High and a Tennis Classic.
Don Torelly blogs for Sneakers.com.br and designed the heavily-patterned Dunks to celebrate the 1958 World Cup victory. Graffiti artist Presto’s Blazer features an illustration of a young sandlot footballer as a way of symbolizing the great improvisation of Brazil’s many championship teams. Closing out the pack, skater Pedro Jurubis’ Tennis Classics depict a neighborhood stenciled on the midsole to signify the tradition of homes decorated in green and yellow leaves in honour of the first day of soccer tournaments. All three pairs come with a t-shirt and are available at select retailers in 4 Brazilian cities on May 25th. Check out more photos after the jump, plus a list of stores that will carry this impressive collection.
