Nike SB Omar Salazar Pro Model

P-Rod broke down doors for Nike SB skaters to receive their own pro models, but the brand has been smart to stay very selective and not just give anybody their own shoe. Stefan Janoski was only the second Nike SB skater to receive a pro model and now it’s time for Omar Salazar to shine. His new SB shoe features a mid cut with a variety of materials constructing the upper. There appear to be sections of black suede on the toebox, the eyelet panels and around the ankle with a woven mesh underlay for the mid-panel and heel. The Swoosh sports a metallic silver material and some other additions include a simple white midsole and laces. The most notable feature, however, has to be the crossed Flywire that graces the rear section of the shoe, making this the first Nike SB model to incorporate the innovative technology. Also, Salazar’s name is embroidered across the tongue in a way that seems to borrow from a classic Air Jordan logo, giving these kicks an extra dose of flavor. Stay tuned for release information and more photos in the near future. Via TheShoeGame.
