Air Jordan 1 Cinco de Mayo Pack – May 2009

We showed you the black pair from this pack earlier, and there was some question as to the inspiration.  Some guessed Gucci, whereas your author came to believe the colour and release date might indicate a certain Mexican holiday.  Turns out, these are the Air Jordan 1 Cinco de Mayo Pack, complete with a pair each in black or white.  The key features of both pairs are the midsole and Swoosh stitching, both of which fade from red to white to green and back again.  Throw in the ‘Wings’ logo in those same colours and a green lining on the black pair only, and these do a good job of being both festive and adaptable. Both pairs will drop on May 2nd so you can get em early and be well prepared to party!
