Although it may pull at many sneaker heads heartstrings when dope samples surface that will never see the light of a retail store as it brings to mind the almost redundant thought “what could have been,” it is hard to turn your eyes away when a dope Air Jordan XI surfaces such as this one. This Air Jordan XI, in a clean white and citrus orange colorway most definitely stands out amongst rare and unseen AJXI that have been making Jordan heads’ mouths water since the shoe broke down the barriers of basketball sneaker design in the mid 1990’s.
Other than the classic icy sole and patent leather around the upper, this shoe possesses a combination of features that have never before been seen on the beloved AJXI. Soft, white leather adorns the areas of the upper where you would typically see the synthetic, mesh material and raised, plastic letters spelling out “JORDAN” replace the usual embroideries that we see along the laces. All in all, it can arguably be said that this shoe is a bigger, better version of the Air Jordan XI Low that came out in a citrus colorway years back. Unless some type of miracle strikes at the Jordan Brand headquarters, you will most likely never get a chance to see these beauties so be sure to peep the slew of photos after the jump. via CARTER1203 of Kenlu
