I know what you were thinking: if New Balance were going to make a hybrid, why would they state it as though it were a collaboration? Well, fellow sneakerhead, that’s because 686 isn’t a NB runner, but rather a snowboarding apparel company who is, in fact collaborating with everyone’s favorite British running company. The 686-designed New Balance 580s feature yarn-dyed plaid panels, providing nice textures for these new black/blue and white/grey/red models. 686-branded mudguards and tongue tags round out the package for this upcoming pack.
