Just when you thought they couldn’t get any higher, Supra the undisputed sky top champ brings out a new model to top them all. Behold the Supra ‘Society’, designed and tested by none other than Terry Kennedy of Ice Cream, Fly Society, and Baker Skateboards fame. At a time when nothing seems as loud and outlandish as their team riders, Supra reminds you that their footwear is. While many other footwear companies concentrate on the retro hybrid re-hash of classic models, Supra has become a household name by putting out original and somewhat controversial concepts. Continuing on the trend to go boldly where no skate shoe company has gone before, Supra takes their infamous Sky Top one notch higher with not one, but two velcro straps. While the top of the upper offers this additional support as well as an extra bold fashion statement, the rest of the model stays true to it’s skateboarding roots. A hidden lacing system offers to keep your shoe laces safe from grip tape wear and tear, while the sole of the sneaker boasts increased board feel with Supra’s usual flexible and skate friendly vulcanized soles. The Supra ‘Society’ will be available in smooth Grey Patent, Purple Suede, or Black Leather with a Red midsole early this Spring.
