JB Classics Peddler – Sick Wit-It – Spring 2009

JB Classics Peddler – Sick Wit-It – Spring 2009

JB Classics releases aren’t exactly subtle, but with this Peddler, they’re crossing over into Kanye-level self-promotion.  This Premium level release puts it all on the line: a beautiful black leather design that proclaims itself “Sick Wit-It”.  Those words appear in bold gold letters on the heel, but the real star of this show is the unique pattern on the ankle/heel and side panels.

Depending on your vantagepoint, it either looks like a fairly standard woven pattern or a colony of interlocking capital I’s — either way, it’s hand-woven.  Gold eyelets, tongue tag and lacelocks complete the look atop a white midsole.  Your author proudly rocks a pair of Peddlers (Clashes, to be specific), and you can rest assured that the toe on these simply doesn’t bend.  They flex slightly on the inside toe, and the overall effect is that your JBs stay new-looking much longer than most sneakers.

Like everything from Suite 2206, expect luxury touches like a Drytex lining, extra laces and certificate of authenticity, all in JB’s lush slide-out boxes.  We expect these in the next few months; stay tuned to SneakerNews for more details.
