It’s been a big day for the Asics Gel Lyte III, and this third pair is the coup de grace. While the other two appeared in tonal variations of a single colour with a few accents, these make their mark with bright hues.
The upper is predominantly red, which is a red snakeskin leather on the toe, side panel, ankle and heel/rear quarter. There’s some of the same blue we saw on those cool grey joints earlier today, some orange where we saw reflective grey on the black ones, and a lime green element on the side panel for an interesting palate. These colors should be garish, but somehow they work together nicely. You can cop all three of the Gel Lyte IIIs we’ve shown you today at select Foot Lockers this coming December.
