Nike fought an entire Summer to make sure they got last year’s NBA Rookie of the Year, Kevin Durant, and to reward him for his stellar Rookie season they have created a signature shoe for KD, coincidentally it’s being called the KD1. We gave you a preview/artist rendering last week and now we have some images of the actual shoe. Two colorways of this shoe have surfaced with both paying homage to Durant’s roots prior to the NBA. This first colorway (pictured above) comes in White, Blue, and a Soft Red that we believe is inspired by one of his AAU teams. The other colorway is a University of Texas inspired colorway of Black and Orange, that we’re sure we’ll find on a few Longhorns’ this upcoming NCAA Basketball Season. Both shoes are slated for a Spring 2009 release date. via Kidulty
