These Converse Chuck Taylor Low’s may look like the plain, regular ones we’re accustomed to, but these mean much more. These sneakers were inspired by the global fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa and were made from African-made canvas, as the tag reads. A percentage of the net sales of Converse (PRODUCT) RED shoes contribute to the Global Fund, to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Not only has Converse released the black low tops and the red low tops, but the company has also collaborated with 100 musicians and artists to form 100 unique sneakers and is allowing it’s consumers to customize their own sneakers online, all to help support this important cause. The Chuck Taylor Low’s are available now on eBay.
