With the Coundown Packs being the most talked about Jordan sneakers of the year, many have been wondering what colorway the sneaker that started it all would be. We now have our answer. This black and white Air Jordan 1 hasn’t retroed since it’s initial release back in 1985. A few things differ between this pair and the originals and not much has changed since the more recent Air Jordan 1 Retro’s. Unlike the originals, it has a white Jumpman on the back heel and a black Jumpman on the tongue. The originals featured no logo on the back heel, but a had a Nike Air logo on the tongue. Also, this Air Jordan 1 High has more of a mid-cut ankle since it doesn’t quite measure up to the OG Air Jordan 1 High in height, although it is higher cut than recent Air Jordan 1 Retro releases. This sneaker along with a pair of Air Jordan 22’s is set to release this September. via Niketalk / Sole Locker
