David Z and Ronnie Fieg is launching another collaboration after a slew of them over the past few months. In the past year, there’s been four Gel Lyte III collabs. Taking another lesser used model from the Asics archive, the Asics GT Quick has been chosen. This time keeping the colors simple, black, pink and blue are used for the upper which features leather and suede. For the release of this sneaker, Complex will be help throw an in store event where a never before seen Gel Lyte III collab will be shown to the public for the first time. This Thursday at 9pm there will be a friends and family celebration in the newly opened David Z shop in Times Square. For the event and the first 50 in-store purchases on Friday, there will be a high grade white leather bag and a matching purple asics t-shirt given with purchase, each style priced at $100.00. 200 pairs per style will be available to the public on Friday June 20th on Davidz.com as well as the flag ship store.
